A vegetation fire was reported in the hills near Silverado at about 7 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 26 and grew to 13,354 acres by Wednesday. The blaze has actually been called the Silverado fire.

Firefighters on Wednesday, Oct. 28 were able to make a perimeter around 25% of the Silverado fire and by early afternoon all residents in Irvine and numerous from Lake Forest who ‘d been ordered to leave were permitted to return house.
