Officers looked on and stood in place as dozens of demonstrators could be seen kneeling.At the demonstration, a man and woman went over the psychological impact the experience has had on them.
“It’s a dream come to life, to be truthful as an African-American. I have actually never ever experienced this in my life, to be surrounded by all kinds of people, all diverse kinds of people who are in fact coming and standing for me! I can’t tell you how moving that is, makes me wan na cry. I’m actually in shock,” one lady said.
“What I received from the Holy Spirit, I’m a Christian, when she was stating that, it makes me feel grateful to see all these beautiful people who are developed in the image of God, standing for love and standing for justice,” a guy said at the demonstration.The protest in Brea was among a number of held throughout Southern California requiring justice after the in-custody death of George Floyd by Minnesota police.
