COVID-19 rise prompts temporary closure of Pink’s Hot Dogs – KABC-TV

LOS ANGELES (KABC)– The iconic Pink’s Hot Dogs stand announced Thursday it will close for 2 months due to the boost in coronavirus cases in the region.In a post on its Twitter page, Pink’s stated the decision to close starting Sunday night is being done “in order to keep our customers and staff safe from the present Covid rise.”The owners state with the regional stay-at-home order and lessening hospital bed capability, business feel it’s too dangerous to remain open.RELATED: 2 California areas’stay-at-home orders extended forever as ICU capability stays at 0%The stand on La Brea Opportunity near Melrose Opportunity will remain open through 7 p.m. Sunday.The legendary spot in Hollywood has been serving clients because 1939 and concluded its Twitter message with” See you in March.
